Mr. Wasowicz is a thirty-one year law enforcement veteran with twenty-six years of crime scene processing and forensic services management experience. Mr. Wasowicz presents with the approach of someone who has wide-ranging crime scene experience - from arson fires to death investigations. He understands the working crime scene technician is expected to handle the routine to the unexpected on a daily basis.

His experience includes fourteen years of supervising a thirteen person forensic team for the North Regional Major Crimes Task Force (NORTAF) and providing training to forensic personnel from many police agencies. Mr. Wasowicz is certified by the International Association for Identification as a Senior Crime Scene Analyst and Bloodstain Pattern Examiner.
Mr. Wasowicz is a member of the International Association for Identification (International, Illinois and Wisconsin Division), the International Association of Arson Investigators (International and Illinois Division) and the International Association of Special Investigation Units (Illinois Division).

Mr. Wasowicz’s awards include: First recipient of the 'Good of the Association' Award from the Illinois Division of the I.A.I., recipient of the Forensic Service Award for the year 2002 from Cook County Illinois Crime Stoppers, and recipient of the 2003 Excellence in Law Enforcement Award from the Illinois Special Agents Association.
