Mary Koll has been a felony violent crimes prosecutor since 2010, first in the Macon County State's Attorney's Office, where she was the supervising attorney of the Domestic Violence Unit and Elderly Victim Crime Unit, and more recently in the McLean County State's Attorney's Office, where she oversees domestic violence prosecutions. In both offices she has also been assigned to other major crimes including first degree murder cases. She is a member of several multi-disciplinary teams that focus on domestic and elder abuse, including founder and coordinator of the McLean County Coordinated Community Response Team and co-chair of the East Central Illinois Regional Fatality Review Team. She has provided training to police officers and professionals across the state on family violence and elder abuse, and is a legal instructor for the Macon County Law Enforcement Training Center. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Illinois College of Law in 2010.
